The Future

The future of housing is the most exciting market on earth! The disruption that will happen over the next 10-20 years will be completely mind-blowing and transformative. We’re incredibly excited that Everywhere has an opportunity to play a role in these changes that will inevitably affect a huge portion of the global population.

Below are some of the interesting things happening right now, and what we’re planning on integrating with as time goes on:

Selling your existing home in less than 30 days

There are emerging tech-powered companies that are making it possible to sell your existing home in a very short amount of time. In the past you could expect 90 days or more just to get things moving. Today, you have companies like Opendoor that will buy your home directly, or help you list it. Or there is Offerpad that will make you an offer on your home in 24 hours or less! Compass is doing something similar and even has a bridge loan service for you, in-house to make the loan on your new purchase that much easier!

Make no mistake, selling your home is getting easier and easier to do each and every year. The market for tech companies to compete with each other in this space is getting exciting. At Everywhere, we plan to integrate with companies like this to make it easier to sell your existing home!

Building Information Modeling (BIM)

At Everywhere, we work with Autodesk software that allows us to create highly detailed 3D models of the homes we design. This gives us amazing accuracy when it comes to the drawings, specifications and the build output of our homes. If you look at the history of home construction, it has been filled with cost inefficiencies which have negatively affected cost margins. This has resulted in many bad user experiences for buyers.

At Everywhere, we embrace the BIM technology with open arms as it not only allows us to be smart and save on construction waste, but our customers that want to modify any of our designs receive the changes in a relatively short amount of time, compared to similar requests that happened with architects in the past as they worked with 2D drawings.

Augmented & Virtual Reality

The home buying experience for customers can change forever using augmented (AR) & virtual reality (VR). At Everywhere, we hope to utilize these technologies by creating interactive walk-throughs along with 3D models that can be placed on top of existing lots or landscapes to help visualize the space better.

Expect to see huge innovations from Everywhere in this arena in the coming years!
