Everywhere’s Commitment to “Make America Healthy Again”

At Everywhere, we believe the homes we live in should never compromise our health. Yet, for decades, the construction industry has relied on materials that silently harm us, our children, and our planet. Today, that ends.

Inspired by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s vision to Make America Healthy Again, Everywhere is taking decisive action to ensure the homes we build are not only beautiful and sustainable but also free from harmful materials that jeopardize our well-being.

By no later than 2027, Everywhere will establish an Independent Health Board to lead the charge in defining a new standard for home construction. This board will consist of experts in environmental health, toxicology, and sustainable building, ensuring that every material we use is proven not to cause health defects.

This isn’t just a promise. It’s a movement. A revolution in how we think about the spaces we live in, driven by the belief that every American deserves a home that nurtures life, not endangers it.

The Vision: A Revolution in Healthy Living

The modern American home has been quietly poisoning us. From toxic chemicals in paint and flooring to carcinogens in building materials, the places we call home have become reservoirs of hidden harm. We envision a future where this is no longer the case—a future where families can live, thrive, and grow in spaces designed for health and harmony.

Inspired by RFK Jr.’s advocacy for environmental health, we aim to achieve three core objectives:

  1. Educate Americans about the dangers of toxic materials in everyday construction.
  2. Eliminate harmful substances from Everywhere’s supply chain.
  3. Elevate the industry by setting a new gold standard for safe, sustainable housing.

A Commitment to Change by 2027

Everywhere’s Independent Health Board will be responsible for:

  • Creating a Comprehensive Material List: By 2027, all materials used in our homes will meet stringent health and safety standards, ensuring they are free of carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, and other toxins.
  • Auditing Practices Across the Industry: We will push for transparency and accountability, not just within Everywhere but across the entire construction sector.
  • Providing Clear Guidelines for Healthy Building: Homeowners and builders will have access to a roadmap for creating toxin-free living spaces.

Why This Matters: The Hidden Dangers in Your Home

The data is clear: we are living in an era of unprecedented health challenges, many of which stem from environmental toxins, including those in building materials.

Indoor Air Quality

  • The EPA estimates that indoor air quality is 2-5 times worse than outdoor air, largely due to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from paint, adhesives, and finishes.

Cancer Risks

  • Formaldehyde, found in many building products, is classified as a known human carcinogen by the World Health Organization.
  • Studies show that exposure to flame retardants and other chemicals in insulation and furniture increases the risk of hormonal disruption and certain cancers.

Childhood Health

  • According to the CDC, rates of asthma and respiratory illnesses in children have nearly doubled since the 1980s, correlating with the rise in synthetic materials used in home construction.

These alarming statistics demand urgent action. Everywhere is stepping up to lead the charge in creating homes that prioritize health, safety, and sustainability.
